Post -Rehabilitation is "rehabilitation
"after a patient has been discharged and or omits
themselves from "skilled" rehabilitation. There are
several reasons why one would seek Post- Rehabilitation:
(bold is the most common)
- The patient is not satisfied with the outcomes and
or services rendered
- Optimum goals have not been met
- Patient has been discharged from either the doctor
or therapist
- Patient has reached maximum goals from skilled
physical therapy to obtain activities of daily living
- Patient was not cooperative and or motivated
- Patient did not tolerate the treatment plan
- Insurance companies contract expired
- Patient financial resources have been exhausted
- AN ATHLETE IS SEEKING TO BE BETTER PREPARED

Post - Rehabilitation can be performed
by anyone because this is not governed by the state,
insurance companies or the medical arena.
IFSI believes that the
Post- Rehabilitation programs should be given by a
licensed clinician and or a certified person who knows
and understands the needs of the client. Our approach
in Post -Rehabilitation is one that is holistic in
TRAINING and PREPARING the whole body that needs to
return to the desired activities, not just the part
injured at hand. IFSI
feels most traditional facilities do not have the
knowledge and or the facility to treat beyond the
basic necessities to achieve activity of daily living
i.e. range of motion and strength to sit, stand, walk
and work. Our programs are custom and specialized so
"new" goals can be set for the ideal outcomes our
Post- Rehabilitation client deserves to have. We are
willing to take on the challenge for any of the
aforementioned reasons your therapy was discontinued.

provides quality care that is hands-on."
