"After injuring my knee in a wrestling tournament, Vince told me not to continue with the tournament and sent me to an orthopeadic surgeon who reccommended pre-habilitation prior to surgery. During my rehabilitation, Vince gave me the confidence and physical therapy I needed to return to wrestling my senior year when I become a regional champion of the same tournement I was injured."

Injury Assessment

IFSI believes an injury that causes pain and loss of function needs immediate medical attention. Research has shown that the longer one waits for therapeutic intervention typically the longer for recovery.

IFSI is not a Medical Emergency facility. If an injury has caused severe pain, loss of movement, deformity, bleeding, dizziness, numbness and or tingling you should seek the emergency room or call 911 for help.

IFSI scope of practice is for typical sprains, strains, soft tissue contusions bracing and to educate. If we feel you need a second opinion we will certainly advise you to the appropriate medical team.

The body is a wonderful machine; it can be built, broken and fixed. The body is exposed to trauma every day through activities, workloads and sporting events we participate in. The healing process cannot be rushed; however it can be guided properly and efficiently through therapeutic intervention. After an injury pain and loss of function take place and immediate symptom and stress modification must be implemented to give the optimum-healing environment needed for an expedient recovery.

IFSI offers this type of professional intervention by a licensed physical therapist that specializes in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine so you can return to activities of daily living, work and sports activities symptom free and safe. We do not need a prescription and or insurance to perform our services.
